St Peter's choir is a vibrant, enthusiastic group of singers made up of 30 children, ranging from the ages of 7-11. Mrs Smith, Deputy Head Teacher of St Peter's, has led the choir since September 2022. They have enjoyed performing at school events such as the Christmas and Summer Fairs and frequently sing during Celebration assemblies. Last year, the choir enjoyed presenting a festive programme to the residents at Sherborne Close Housing Estate. This was a joyful occasion of Christmas carols, mince pies and good cheer. We look forward to a return visit later this year. Next year, we are taking part in the Tunbridge Wells Singing Festival where the children will have the opportunity to perform at The Assembly Halls. The older members of our choir will also be performing at the O2 in a Young Voices concert, along with 8,000 other children. A fantastic opportunity that they will never forget!

Upcoming Choir Events:

Tuesday 5th December 2023 - The choir will be joining our British Sign Language club in a special assembly for the school where there will be festive singing and signing.

Friday 8^th December 2023 - The choir and Years 5 and 6 will be singing Christmas carols at the gate at the end of the day to raise money for travel to the upcoming Young Voices event.

Tuesday 12^th December 2023 - The choir will be visiting Sherborne Close Housing to sing to the residents there.
