Week commencing Monday 20th November it is National Road Safety week. Today our Junior Road Safety officers (JRSOs) led an assembly about being safe on the roads. The key themes were:

• Be Bright Be seen

• Stop, Look and Listen when crossing the roads

• Find a safe place to cross 

• Keep speed down to 20mph on roads around schools.

The JRSOs launched a poster competition ( Poster attached).

If your child would like to enter they can use any of the themes above as the central point of their poster or they can use the suggestions for each class which can be found on the attached flier. The entries should be returned to the school office on an A4 piece of paper with the child's name, age and class on the back. Winning entries from each class will receive a road safety awareness reflector. Winning entries will be sent on to the county competition.
